The national campaign "Clean Beaches", initiated by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Environment, under the patronage of HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, celebrated Thursday at Bouznika its 10th anniversary
On this occasion, a ceremony was held on the Bouznika Beach, at the initiative of local authorities and the municipal council of the
city with the collaboration of different stakeholders in this program and the Local Associations, said a press release Friday of the National Drinking Water (NDW).
During this year the beach Bouznika "saw the rehabilitation of sanitary facilities, access to the beach, the dredging of Oued Sikouk and installation of new signs of awareness and information, in accordance with the guidelines of the Foundation Mohammed VI for the environment, "says the release.
This beach has also been allocated for the 3rd consecutive time, the label "Blue Flag" for bathing sites meeting the criteria of quality and safety.
The Office points out, in this respect, its contribution to improving conditions on the summer beach through an investment of 20 million dirhams between 2002-2009.
