The Ministry of Youth and Sport organizes the games in partnership with the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) and the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM). Participants will compete in 16 Olympic sports

, namely football, basketball, table tennis,Cycling, boxing, rowing, swimming, judo, weightlifting, taekwondo, fencing, shooting, athletics, wrestling, tennis and canoeing. The competitions will be held in Rabat, Salé, Casablanca, Mohammedia, Temara, Sidi Allal Bahraoui and Bouznika, to house the Games Village and the medal ceremonies for the winners. Moncef Belkhayat was confident about the success of such an event. Indeed, he said, the infrastructure that will host these games has recently been upgraded. All the ingredients, he says, will come together to make these Games a major international event worthy of its name.
